The Bordeaux Ambassadors Club is born...
The Bordeaux Ambassadors Club (Club des Ambassadeurs de Bordeaux), formed on the initiative of the Bordeaux Gironde Convention Bureau, is an organization for those in the region’s academic, scientific, medical and economic fields who are active in national and international associations and would like to hold their conferences in Bordeaux. They will have at their disposal all the valuable expertise and assistance of the BGCB and its members. The Bordeaux Ambassadors Club will be officially launched this coming March 28th by Jean-Michel Cazes, president of the Bordeaux Gironde Convention Bureau, at a dinner to be held at Bordeaux city hall in the presence of Mayor Alain Juppé.
Vitalparc reopened its doors for the 2007 season on Saturday, February 17, after undergoing major refurbishment and refitting work on the site’s facilities (meeting rooms, restaurant, bar, spa, apartments, and villas). The numerous renovations have added a bit more comfort for clients and guarantee satisfaction with the resort’s many meeting and leisure services (three-star hotel, apartments, villas, spa, horse riding centre, restaurant, conference rooms accommodating up to 130 people).
The sales team is growing! We welcome Katia Manfé: with 10 years’ experience in organizing business events for Lacanau Océan, the sales department will certainly benefit from all the talent, dynamism, and savoir-faire that Ms. Manfé has to offer.
The arrival of the Air France summer program is also bringing a number of innovations: Service between Bordeaux and Charles de Gaulle will be extended with the addition of a sixth daily flight, allowing a greater number of connections via the Paris Charles de Gaulle hub.
As of this past January 29, Air France also now offers two daily flights to Brussels, making a round-trip possible in the same day.
SkyTeam has created “SkyTeam Global Meetings” as part of its new sales offerings. For approved international events, one can now enjoy reductions on a certain flight tariff range, free products for participants, and a program for event organizers that allows them to obtain a credit in the form of free tickets.
With this new service, once the organizer has registered the event, he or she will have a dedicated customer assistance contact representing all of the SkyTeam partners.

La Grand’ Vigne, the winegrower's delight
Chef Franck Salein has had the pleasure of welcoming guests to the newly redecorated La Grand’ Vigne restaurant since Les Sources de Caudalie re-opened on 18 January 2007. The new décor is just as chic, but features a warmer atmosphere with subtle shades of glazed chestnuts and chocolate. The chair seats will soon be different colors too, depicting the stages of grape ripening: yellow, red, and purple!
The Grand’ Vigne restaurant is ideal for groups thanks to three fully-equipped modular rooms available for private functions.
Franck Salein's menu is displayed on Château Smith Haut Lafitte barrel staves. Dishes are either minceur (low calorie) or gourmand (more hearty fare) depending on your appetite and mood. Our young Head Sommelier, Christophe Santos, won the Ruinart trophy as best wine waiter in the Aquitaine region and is now competing at a national level. He is brilliant at finding the perfect wine and food matches.
New members of the team
Sébastien Renard joined the Sources de Caudalie as Operations Manager in the autumn. He looks after our clients' well-being and ensures they have an enjoyable stay.
Barbara Pfister now assists Aude Salini in the sales department, which is open every day of the week to help you to organize your seminars and banquets at
