Leaving from Pauillac (approximately 40 km from Bordeaux), the incoming agency Bordeaux Saveurs offers your clients and colleagues an original seminar in the heart of the Gironde estuary!

MORNING :

- Crossing of the Gironde by boat to the Ile de Patiras (leaving from Pauillac)

The stopover includes a visit to a former lighthouse that it now a lookout point, and to a keepers house – a "refuge" that has been redecorated in a tastefully modern style. This outstanding site, only accessible by boat, can be entirely reserved for your group.

- Meetings in the Refuge de Patiras

Located at the foot of the lighthouse, on the tip of the island in the heart of the Gironde Estuary, the Refuge de Patiras is absolutely unique. This mysterious, atypical setting features remarkable fauna and flora which, combined with the hospitality you will encounter, makes sure that your time here will remain a very special memory.

The venue: an 80m² room on stilts with a panoramic view – terrace and 120 m² outdoor tent.

Equipment : videoprojectors, hifi, sound system, DVD reader, screen, computer, and whiteboard

- Visit to the Patiras lighthouse

BUFFET LUNCH AT THE REFUGE DE PATIRAS :

Depending on the weather, a "finger food" buffet can be prepared either indoors or outdoors.  This unusual meal, part buffet and part tasting, is a wonderful way to enjoy the site and promotes conversation between participants.

Lunch includes: Buffet with savoury and sweet dishes, water, wines and coffee. 

AFTERNOON :

- Crossing the Gironde by boat to return to Pauillac

- Introductory winetasting course at the Wine School at Château Lynch-Bages

After a presentation of Bordeaux wine appellations, participants will attend a tutored tasting of wines from various parts of the region. The tasting will be followed by a 2-hour tour of the château.

Cost including VAT (minimum 20 people): 158 € per person.
 

Price includes: a return trip across the Gironde, rental of a meeting area in the Refuge de Patiras including equipment, a welcome cup of coffee and a coffee break, a buffet lunch, including wine, a visite to the Patiras lighthouse, a wine tasting class and a visit of the cellars at Château Lynch Bages.
 

Price does not include: transport, a guide or any other service.
