2010 ESSO Conference
From 15 to 17 September 2010, Bordeaux will be hosting the 15th European surgical oncology conference. The key local organizer is Professor Serge Evrard, a member of the Bordeaux Ambassador's Club.
The first international congress in the French language on AD/HD
The first international congress in the French language on AD/HD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) took place in Bordeaux on the 24th and 25th of June 2010. The congress was organised by the child and adolescent psychiatry department (Pr. Manuel Bouvard) and the psychology department (Pr. Grégory Michel) of the Bordeaux "Centre Hospitalier Universitaire".
EMF Bordeaux Event - European conference on electromagnetic fields
From 26 to 29 May 2010, Bordeaux hosted "EMF Bordeaux Event", a European conference for bioelectromagnetics specialists.
The 49th SFPM scientific meeting
The 49th SFPM scientific meeting, a major event in the cancer research field, organised by the Société Française de Physique Médicale (SFPM - French Medical Physics Society), has been held at the Bordeaux Convention Centre from 19 to 21 May 2010. Catherine Dejean and Sarah Belhomme, members of both the Ambassador's Club and the Scientific Committee for the event, worked closely with the BGCB to support Bordeaux' bid to host this conference.
