Fifth busiest French airport with over 3 million passengers a year, Bordeaux-Mérignac airport has regular air links with 32 cities, and 8 charter flights (as many as 60 in summer). The flights go to and from Paris, other French regions, and European capitals.
Bordeaux Mérignac airport is 12 km from the centre of Bordeaux, and there is a shuttle bus.

SAINT-JEAN STATION
Bordeaux Saint-Jean station is the largest in Aquitaine with 260 trains a day, including 25 return trips to Paris (3 hours), 5 to Roissy Charles de Gaulle, 6 return trips to Lille, 3 return trips to Strasbourg on a TGV high speed train, as well as 200 TER trains linking the regional capital to all the cities in Aquitaine.

Four motorways lead to Bordeaux:
A10 from Paris and the East and North of France via Orléans, Tours and Poitiers.
A62 from la Mediterranean via Toulouse, Montauban and Agen.

A89 from the Southeast and East via Lyon, Clermont Ferrand and Périgueux.
