The first international congress in the French language on AD/HD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) took place in Bordeaux on the 24th and 25th of June 2010. The congress was organised by the child and adolescent psychiatry department (Pr. Manuel Bouvard) and the psychology department (Pr. Grégory Michel) of the Bordeaux "Centre Hospitalier Universitaire".

This event brought together specialists from various medical and paramedical fields as well as teachers and representatives of patients welfare associations to share their knowledge and experience with this disorder.

450 participants from French-speaking European countries, as well as North Africa, the Middle East, and Canada were present. The conference featured talks by international experts on their clinical and therapeutic experience on AD/HD, and provided an occasion for numerous useful contacts, both on a personal and scientific level.
