The Hotel Burdigala opened in 1988 underwent a full renovation during the summer on 2011. The Bordeaux agency Design Studio was chosen to devise an “urban chic” décor to suit the hotel’s personality.

Now the hotel’s “new look” is on show for the first time. As soon as you walk into the lobby, the graphic style of the reception area gives a good idea of the elegant resolutely contemporary design used throughout the hotel.
In the bedrooms, noble materials and subtly-shaded colors create a serene, restful atmosphere. The bathrooms are decorated with delicate mosaics.
On the ground floor, the hotel affirms its connection with Bordeaux, world wine capital. The spectacular wine cellar, integrated into the restaurant, provides a showcase for some superb bottles. The bar now offers selected great growth wines by the glass.
Thanks to this renovation, the Hotel Burdigala certainly show what Bordeaux can offer in the 5 star hotel category.
