The Bordeaux Gironde Convention Bureau (BGCB) is a non-profit association established to promote the city of Bordeaux and the Gironde department as a destination for meetings, incentive trips, congresses and exhibitions (MICE). The BGCB is a privileged contact for organisers seeking help in choosing venues, service providers and activities to suit their needs, and in preparing their event.

Air France continues to innovate with its new short-haul seat. Starting 30 January 2010, Air France is gradually introducing a new seat on its short-haul fleet of Airbus A319, A320 and A321s on its domestic network.

The Bordeaux Gironde Convention Bureau, accompanied by 18 professionals of the Bordeaux meeting industry, will be present at the BEDOUK exhibition MC&IT held on the 3rd and 4th of February at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris. This is an ideal opportunity for visitors to discover all the Bordeaux region has to offer in terms of meetings, conventions and incentive trips.

Château Pape Clément received a 2010 gold Best of Wine Tourism award in the "Wine Tourism Services" category, on both a French and international level, during a ceremony that took place on the 5th of November at Château Giscours.

Singled out for the special welcome they provide to visitors, seventeen sites received a Best Of Wine Tourism award on the 5th of November 2009 at Château Giscours. This included 6 gold medals. The 10th General Assembly of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network was brought to close at a ceremony during which 8 prestigious Global Awards were presented. Several wine estates belonging to the Bordeaux Gironde Convention Bureau were honoured.

The hotel was nominated in 3 categories: Best Interior Design in a Hotel in Europe, Best Hotel Architecture, and Best Floral Decoration in a Hotel in Europe.
